I stumbled upon this wonderful website a few days ago called Booktunes which creates itunes playlists to accompany novels. The idea is brilliant and the site seems to be growing.
Not only are novels accompanied by music, but also beautiful illustrations and photographs. There are intimate interviews and the site quite pretty to look at. A real gem for the dedicated reader. Below is a sample of the album cover for the music to accompany Haruki Murakami's Kafka On the Shore.
